A West End Afternoon!

Summer, as my mom says, only lasts 3 months. You have to make the most of it when it comes - after that, 6 months of winter.

I think she's right - so we went down to the West End yesterday (together with my sister and aunt), which is my favorite part of London, because it's "American Paradise." In the shops, they sell American stuff, you can eat at American restaurants such as TGI Friday's, and meet American Boys... for REAL!

My phone was with me, so I could take photos of whatever attracted my attention. In Leicester Square, I got USA Today - inside it was a sports paper. To read about what's going on in the American world of sports! There were LOTS of pigeons - some were sitting on a signpost next to Burger King, others on the restaurant roofs, even more in the gardens... but they're not supposed to be there. LOL!

But, wait... why am I talking about pigeons? I was here for American Boys. I needed to find some American stuff.

So, later on, we were walking down Oxford Street. And I found this...

An American "mini-supermarket" - just like the one I saw in the shopping center last month! But it was a bit bigger. This one sold Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, Golden Grahams, and POP TARTS - the treats American Boys love eating! (I wanna try some!) A Jack Daniel's hid under a box of Lucky Charms. I'm guessing there's lots of American supermarkets in London... that makes me glad.

Then, I found an American Apparel shop. Written on it were ALL the cities it has outlets in - Seattle included! I took photos of the whole thing - a star logo flashing "Crafted With Pride In Los Angeles, California," flags saying "Made In USA" and the shop itself. I was so happy!

At the end of the day I was really tired. But I had such a fantastic time! I'll return often to have more American fun.

Dreaming Of Obama...

Last night, something really weird happened. It was so weird, I wanted to blog about it.

The American President, Barack Obama, somehow got into my dreams! I was so surprised to see him! I said, "Hey, I saw you becoming President of America - what are you doing here?"

He turned to me. "I know you!" he exclaimed. "You're the creator of American Boys, aren't you?" To which I replied, "Yes."

I knew about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, so I asked, "You trying to save America from the oil?" He nodded sadly. "I'm doing my best to save the American people from the disaster. But it may take a few months, because it's very big."

He smiled at me, and I smiled back. "Thanks, Mr. President," I said. Then everything went black, and I woke up. I looked around the room, and at my sister, who was asleep. "It was just a dream," I thought to myself. I shrugged, and went back to sleep.

It was a strange dream, but it means two things. First, Obama is saving America from the oil. Second, I'm following him. Because he's my hero.

Happy Independence Day!

Today is a very special day. It is the day American Boys celebrate the day the USA was born. It is the day when they feel proud of their nationality, and also the day when they declared their independence from Britain. It is Independence Day.

I'm going to upload the pages of a comic, named All The Fun Of Independence Day, to my Deviantart gallery. Although I wrote and drew it last year, I can read it whenever Independence Day comes along!

Independence Day is a very, very, VERY special day for American Boys - it gives them the opportunity to show how much they love their country. Everywhere you go, people are dressed in American costumes waving American flags, shouting, "YAY! WE LOVE AMERICA!" and holding parties. The best bit is the fireworks - red, white, and blue explosions fill the nighttime sky, with everyone cheering and enjoying themselves.

I might be going out somewhere to celebrate - maybe to the park, or to Central London. After all, today is Independence Day; feel proud of your nationality.

Happy July The Fourth.

The American Supermarket!

Yesterday, I was in the shopping center with my mum and my aunt. We were looking around at all the stuff they had on sale. Suddenly, I saw this.

It was a mini "supermarket" for American Boys! Lucky Charms, Butterfingers, Hershey's chocolates, Oreos - all the stuff they eat in America. I'm going to eat lots of them when I become American!

They looked so delicious, I took photos of them with my phone! I also saw Welch's purple grape juice and Jolly Time popcorn. "Product Of USA," the box said proudly. Not to mention JELLY BEANS - they're made in California.

Along with sweet stuff, savory stuff was being sold, too. New York-style snacks were located just next to the jelly beans. But there was a problem (or, for me, a good thing)... they weren't made in New York, they were made in Tulsa, Oklahoma. LMAO!!!!!

I went to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to finish off - and that's where a T-shirt saying "Krispy Kreme Doughnuts - Since 1937" was being displayed. There was an address under the slogan: "Winston-Salem, NC, 27102." I've just learnt something new there - Krispy Kreme Doughnuts started in North Carolina - Winston-Salem, to be precise! Oh, and a cap with the KKD logo was on display, too.
Seeing all these American stuff has made me go up a level in "Living Like An American." America really is closer than I thought!

New Seattle Forms!

With his immense popularity in the American Boys franchise, Seattle seems to be getting more and more volatile every day. Which means right now, he's gotten three new forms! :D

They are named Orchid Seattle, Cream Seattle, and Honey Seattle.

The first form, Orchid Seattle, wears an orchid-coloured suit (white, pink, and burgundy). He smells of orchids - I'd love him in my garden. <3

The second form, Cream Seattle, wears a suit with a cream colour scheme. He has a delicious smell of, well... cream. You guessed that! XD

The third form, Honey Seattle, is the sweetest. He wears a yellow and brown suit, and he smells of honey. He attracts bees, because they love the saccharine taste.

Adding to Seattle's popularity, the new forms mean he's gonna become even more popular! Nothing can stop him. ;)

End Of Exams!

Well, this is it! Exams are over! Now I can relax, because the weekend's ahead of me.

Also the summer holidays are just 5 WEEKS AWAY!!!!! I'm really excited for that! But first, our lessons at school will be free, so we can have fun before the holidays come along.

My mum's thinking of getting me a new phone for all the hard work I've done. The exams seemed really easy for me.

And by the way, I can see the American Boys again. Because... I don't have to revise anymore!

The Dark Side Of Summer - EXAMS

Summer! It's finally arrived. But with summer comes... EXAMS!

Over the last week, I've had to revise like crazy. I can't see the American Boys when I'm doing so... it REALLY annoys me.

Everyone knows that exams prepare you for the future. But they get really anxious because they think they're going to get bad grades or they're going to forget what they know about the subject in the exam.

I really can't wait until after the exams are over. We'll be having free lessons at school. And after that... SUMMER HOLIDAYS!

Until then, I'll be writing away in the exam room for an hour or two.
