+*Super American Boys*+ Artwork Series

I drew them for fun. Note that some of their outfits are different from their original ones (i.e. their "ordinary" ones). It is purely for this artwork series only. Don't worry - they're still the American Boys you know and love!

Oh, and I've also drawn Detroit showing off his belly button. He thinks he's cool.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Yes, you heard that right - IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! I'm celebrating my 15th day on Earth, and like we had an American Boys Christmas (cuz nearly everything I got was American - the California spiral book, the Washington, D.C. guidebook, the I Love Seattle T-shirt), we're gunna have an American Boys birthday. We're gonna zip down to Central London to get some presents - all to do with America, and we'll have lots of fun!

See ya in Central! ;)

1st American Boys Animation EVER!!!!

Yesterday, I downloaded this animation program free from the Internet, called Pencil. (So called cuz animations used to be made with pencil.) I put the American Boys to move by making Seattle say "I hate my job" then whirling around in orange sparkles and turning into his bad version. It took me AGES to create the animation - when I'd finally finished it I was looking for a way to turn it into a little movie. Now I've got the mini movie and I'm looking for a voice actor and sound effects for it. By the way... this is my FIRST ANIMATION EVER!!!! I'm really looking forward to the day the American Boys come to life.

"I hate my job!"

Olympia With Shorts/Seattle With Trousers

Winter's nearly over and spring's coming... God winter seems to go on for ever. For that reason, I've given Olympia shorts, for the warm weather that's coming up.

But negativist Seattle thinks the cold's going to be with us for a few weeks more. So, for him, I've given him trousers:

Lookin' awesome, innit? :)

Funny American Boys - Seattle and Olympia - Fun With Fruit

If you thought American Boys was serious business, think again.

See what we did there?
Seattle + apple = Seapple.
Olympia + pear = Olympear!

See? The American Boys CAN be funny!

Seattle Costume!!!

My sister is making a costume starring Seattle (bad version). It's 80% finished - all we need is the logo and the cape. I think it's fun to dress as your own characters because they're YOUR creations, not anyone else's.

So, I hope you like the costume, and I'll show you it when we've finished making it!

The First Eighteen American Boys!

Today, I'm going to introduce the first 18 characters in American Boys.
(There's more American Boys than that - there's actually 250!) ;)

  • Washington
Washington is the protagonist of American Boys. He wears a gray wig and presents House of America, which lots of American Boys like to watch. He loves every single way of having fun, and he creates the cartoons that are shown on the House's silver screen. Washington has two helpers named Nashville and Des Moines, who assist him in getting ready for the show.

  • Dallas
Dallas is a cook at the American Delicacies restaurant. He is very sweet and kind, and he cares for Washington and Chicago - they're like his brothers. Originally he was a cookbook writer too, but now he prefers just cooking, because he thought the book writing put a strain on his life. As well as being a kind restaurant cook, Dallas is in the American Parade dressed as a cowboy, and in the super-cool American Boys Super Heroes Squad, who save the City of America from evil.

  • Chicago
Chicago is a children's and teenagers' book writer. Most of his stories are based on his dreams; he doesn't care if they're good or bad, he just starts on a new story the minute he wakes up. (That's obviously when he's finished a story he's already working on.) The majority of time, he's a cheerful little American Boy; but he's quite sensitive, and he has occasional breakdowns. He's a bit silly too - sometimes, he's literally a "Windy City." Nevertheless, he's a good friend with Washington and Dallas, and he has lots of nicknames, including the famous "Chi-Town." Chicago's books often make the headlines on TV, in newspapers, and magazines.

  • Atlanta
Atlanta is a 15-year-old girl confined to a wheelchair. She's like this because she was run over by a car in her home city (Atlanta, Georgia) when she was ten. Luckily, she survived, but the doctors said she broke her back, and they added that she was going to be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. She's stayed like this ever since, and picked up a few bad habits - flapping her hands crazily for no reason, spitting on her clothes, and doing her business in her pants. But it's not all negativism! She has a boyfriend named New York, and she can talk normally. Atlanta loves eating candy, especially the fruity ones.

  • Detroit
Detroit is the villain of American Boys. He is also a fan of rock music, and he likes going all over the City of America to cause trouble with his sidekick, Baltimore. He is very greedy, and he'll steal food from restaurants and cafes to "fill up." (In American Boys episode 1, he's seen stealing pizza from the American Pizza House.) When he's not causing trouble, he plays his music at full volume to annoy the other American Boys. Detroit is actually a good guy; however, he still lives in the apartment for villains, along with Baltimore. This is because news of his good side has not gotten to the whole of the city.

  • New York
New York is a highly-strung and irritable teenager. He is a calm American Boy most of the time. But if he's insulted, he starts screaming very noisily and hurting anyone unlucky enough to get in his way. If he's insulted in a shop, it's even worse - he throws things around. As mentioned earlier, he's Atlanta's boyfriend, and one of the villains in The American Boys Super Heroes Squad Show. One to avoid... D:

  • Memphis
Memphis is a ball aficionado. (That's Spanish for "fan," if you didn't know that.) He often goes to places such as the leisure center's play area and he has a fit when he sees the round things. He's obsessed with red, blue, green, and yellow balls - in that order. He recently extended it to include purple and orange balls. (There's no gold or silver, because, obviously... you don't get gold or silver balls. xD!) Memphis likes juggling with his "beloved" toys. In the American Parade, he dresses as Elvis.

  • Houston
Houston is a representative of the City of America Council. Apparently he got the job in 2 days. He regularly appears at the American Park to give speeches about issues in the city. (Like, recycling, how the schools are doing, street crime... You get the picture. ¬_¬) He runs the City of America Cleaners - guys whose job is to clean the streets. (No, not with brooms, but with trucks! xD) He dreams of the city being a safe place at night. (When he's asleep. But there's crime 24/7, so... Yeah.) Houston is in the American Parade dressed as a cowboy - like Dallas. He's in the American Boys Super Heroes Squad too - does he save the city from issues, then? xD

  • Nashville
Nashville is Washington's first helper (as mentioned earlier). She looks like an admiral and helps him get dressed for House of America - wait... he always wears his blue shirt! :S She plays this game called "Spray The Perfume On Washington," where she... well, sprays the perfume on Washington. xD In her free time, she likes doing creative activities. Such as creating her own comic books.

  • Des Moines
Des Moines is Washington's second helper. He helps him set up the props for the show, but when he's not doing that, he likes stressing Nashville. He does it by pointing out his fingers, then moving them up and down rapidly, while repeating "Stress, stress, stress," and it makes her go pigeons. (Pigeons? xD) He also throws marbles at her and hits her with Washington's cane. (But you don't see his cane. :S) Des Moines likes doing tricks to amaze Washington and Nashville.

  • Miami
Miami is a surfer. (In early episodes of American Boys, he was described as "an American Boy who likes swimming.") He appears at the beach every single day of the week with his "precious" gold and light green surfboard. (The color gold. Not gold, the metal.) He's quite "naughty," and he periodically strips off in front of the other American Boys to show that he's "bad." (American Boys is for 11+. You heard the man.) Miami once fell victim to the notorious "Nashville Fish" - fish who wear Nashville's sailor hat. He's also angry that there are lots of American Boys who look like him and are copying his talent.

  • Boston
Boston is a man who dresses formally but is in fact mentally ill. He suffers from slight internal tremors which, to the other American Boys, are hardly ever noticeable. (In early episodes of American Boys, it said that he was allergic to pollen and he would sniff certain flowers so he would sneeze, but that seems to have died off.) He tends to go mad in public places... But he ALWAYS stays at the American Park! :S He eats lots of candy at night to fall ill with food poisoning. However, Boston has an amazing ability - he can turn into three very different forms. They are Magical Boston, Boston Positive, and Boston Negative.

  • Philadelphia
Philadelphia is a teenage girl who wishes she can fly. She often puts on her yellow angel wings and attempts to make her dream come true, but she usually hurts herself in doing so, and she bursts into tears when she finds out she can't fulfill her dream. She also goes on funfair rides such as rollercoasters and "flying cars" to see what it's like to fly. Philadelphia likes looking at birds (including pigeons!) and imagining she's one of them. She recently got a new look for the new series of American Boys (it's now in its third season). However, her wings are now colored lemon yellow (not golden yellow as in previous seasons).

  • New Orleans
New Orleans is a dreamy young adolescent. He usually hangs around in places such as the leisure center or the play area with his "buddy" Denver, and he often falls asleep in the swimming pool, but he doesn't drown. He also lets himself get run over by cars and throws himself down the stairs; but no matter how he tries to kill himself, he'll never do it. New Orleans gets a lot of a criticism from the other American Boys, who say he's "supernatural." Like Philadelphia, he got a new look for the third season of American Boys.

  • Denver
Denver is New Orleans' beloved "friend." He hatched from an egg that New Orleans bought at the American Market and kept safe and sound in his jacket pocket. He's supernatural too - his egg is indestructible, and so is he. He's terribly small for a 1-year-old - he's about the size of a hamster. Being very young, he causes a lot of minor accidents, such as knocking down a pile of tins in the supermarket, or doing his business in his pants. Denver sleeps in his egg at night, next to New Orleans' pillow. You'd never know it, but he's got a bad side - he (his bad version) debuted in the FIRST EVER American Boys Mini-Story, New Orleans' Nightmare. He went on a killing spree around the City of America.

  • Seattle
Seattle is a librarian at the American Library. (Sounds very ordinary.) He organizes different kinds of books into numbered aisles, and when people want to borrow one, he scans them with his barcode laser. He frequently gets irritated by the other American Boys talking and laughing out loud - he punishes them by spraying them with cold tea. Every day, he says he hates his job, and he wishes he had a exciting life. That's when something really weird happens: he turns into a bad superhero whose mission is to threaten the whole of the City of America. His special power is "Super Rain Jets" - he holds out his hands and cries the name of the attack. Then... WHOOSH! Rainwater comes shooting out of his palms. He has an awesome ability - he can turn into many different forms. This aptitude allows Seattle to go on many different adventures - from sailing the high seas, through ridin' the ducks, to getting set in 24-karat gold.

  • Olympia
Olympia is an American Boy who often appears at the park. He often messes about in the children's play area and splashes around in the fountains, but sometimes he just sits down on a bench and watches what the other American Boys are doing. He also plays a variety of sports, such as basketball, tennis, swimming, and baseball. Olympia likes eating healthy food, such as fruit and salad. In the second season of American Boys, Olympia acquired his cheeky personality. It was thought that he and Seattle were brothers. They aren't!

  • Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a young man who likes collecting coins. (For gambling? xD) He tells the other American Boys that he's not saving up for "the latest craze," but he collects them because he likes the markings on them. He sorts them into jam jars according to their color, such as copper and bronze. Las Vegas frequently raids the other American Boys' piggy banks to find coins, including the "rare" golden coin, which he thinks is very precious.

And that's it! All the first 18 characters in American Boys!
But remember there's more than 18 - there's 250! That's a big number!
